Nick TAI is the Division Controller of the Entertainment Business Dept./Global Syndication Dept,TVBS Media Inc. at TVBS and is responsible for managing and selling TV series, variety shows, major concerts, and projects produced by the TVBS Entertainment Channel.
In 2012, Nick TAI resigned from Tudou.com in China and returned to Taiwan, bringing his resources and production experiences to TVBS. Popular TV series produced by TAI include The Way We Were, Family Time, Endless Love, etc. TAI has also been behind many critically and commercially successful TVBS series since 2018, including Girl's Power, Girl's Power II, and Youngsters on Fire. Many TV series that TAI has been a part of have been nominated for the Golden Bell Awards and even won the Best Television Series, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best New Actor in a TV Series. TAI's short films – Infinite Love: The Luluna Community, Dr. Rednose, and The Gift of Life – have also been recognized at numerous international film festivals. In addition to TV series, TAI has also sought the digital transformation of variety programs in 2020, giving new life by launching TV and digital transformation for popular variety programs: Queen, Super Taste, and Chop Chop Show. In 2022, TAI launched Let's Open, a variety show that was well received by the audience both online and offline and event ranked first on Netflix. In 2020, TAI started developing his own career as a producer, collaborating with Ruby LIN on the immensely successful Light the Night, which received high ratings on Netflix in multiple countries.
