Global Music Festival

Global Music Festival, first held in 2010 and formerly known as “Golden Melody Music Week”, used to be only music performances combined with exhibitions for the general public in Taiwan. Since 2014, under the guidelines of the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, the event has been transformed into a business matching platform and upgraded to the international level. With the aim of showing the world the prominent potential of Taiwanese pop music in the Chinese world and making Taiwan an iconic music business trading center in Asia, Golden Melody – a global music festival incorporates production, exhibition, show business, marketing and distribution while offering great opportunities for important buyers and performers in music industries around the world to exchange and collaborate.
