The coronavirus pandemic is still raging globally. After conducting risk assessments and discussions, the GMA executive team has decided to call off series of 2020 Golden Melody Festival events, which was originally scheduled to be held between June 24th and 27th, 2020. Meanwhile, the GMAs, generally considered the most prestigious awards in the Chinese-Language music industry, was confirmed to be postponed to this October. We feel extremely sorry for not being able to get together at the 2020 Golden Melody Festival, and we look forward to meeting you soon at Taipei, Taiwan in June, 2021.
