The 31st Golden Melody Awards Ceremony will be held on October 3rd. Invited to sing at the ceremony once again for the first time in 15 years, Fish Leong will be debuting her first ever GMA solo. Fish mentioned that changes in her life over the past 2 years has changed her attitude towards life and singing. She also chose to title her performance "Self-awareness & Rebirth" because of the pandemic as she hopes to give her audience the strength to move forward. The songs she will be singing at the ceremony will primarily consist of love songs. "During recent interviews, friends from the media have been reminding me that my last GMA nomination was 11 years ago and my last GMA performance was in 2006 with Gigi. This year, I was lucky enough to be nominated and invited to perform. Even though I'm nervous, I am still very much looking forward to it," said Fish.
Fish also mentioned that, "I want my performance to be perfect. You can take a guess as to what songs I will be performing. As a nominee, I will also enjoy this music festival as a member of the audience." As for the concerts that her fans are looking forward to, "I am excited to see my fans. If it weren't for the pandemic, I'd probably be on tour right now.
There are a lot of singers holding their concerts at the Taipei Arena now so hopefully, our application will be approved in the near future so I can see you guys soon," Fish expressed in excitement.

The 31st Golden Melody Awards Ceremony will take place on October 3rd (Sat.) 7:00 P.M. at the Main Hall of the Taipei Music Center.
