Director of the Best Music Video of the 21st Golden Melody Awards, Chen frequently collaborates with the iconic singers and actors in Asia. He has filmed over hundreds of music videos and participated in the production of other audiovisual works such as advertisements, concert visuals/promotions, photography exhibits, etc. He is often invited as a guest speaker and judge; and furthermore was member of the jury for the Golden Melody Awards in 2018.
His style is aesthetic, dream-like, and filled with meaning. He is a keen observer of day-to-day things and loves writing. He is passionate about using images to extol words, transforming reality into a non-reality, and then layering on light, shadows, characters, multiple exposure, and image stacking to weave most beautiful scenes. The videos are no longer a simple visual presentation but, rather, more poetic.
