It will be the fourth time the GMA is held in Kaohsiung sixteen years later. The key vision for live broadcasting was recently released as well. Under the theme "thermodynamic transformation", the creative team aims to showcase the momentum of Mandarin pop music.

WeiBird's highly acclaimed movie theme song, Red Scarf is nominated for "Song of the Year". He expressed mixed feelings towards performing at the GMA ceremony as it is both exhilarating and nerve-racking for him. "I’ve been practicing every day, and I also look forward to winning the award for Song of the year!" 9m88 is diligently practicing for her performance at the ceremony as well. She considers the nominees for the best female mandarin singer award talented artists of outstanding characteristics from whom she has learned varying vocal interpretations. "It’s very challenging, but I enjoy it very much." In addition, Waa Wei and Misa, Won Fu and Huang Fei, and Matzka and Muta will be presenting three separate crossover performances featuring novel arrangements and the integration of different languages into mandarin pop music.

The key vision for the live broadcasting of the 33rd GMA Ceremony was also recently released. The creative team partnered with MixCode Studio on designing it based on the concept "heat". Themed "thermodynamic transformation", the key vision is the wavelength from the musical energy captured through thermal imaging.
