Topics covered this year ranged from music industry development, blockchain applications, anime and gaming applications, professional development, and overseas opportunities. For a better talent training system, musician David Tao was invited to share personal experiences and educational process.
In response to swift tech advances around the world, the first session in conference touched upon music industry in digital age. It pointed out production benefits and drawbacks with digital technologies, as well as transformations undergoing among music labels. Moderated by Omusic executive, the panel invited new media marketing manager for JVR Music, KKBOX senior director of content strategy, and Kobalt Music Group Asia director. Blockchain opportunity session was moderated by Bitmark representative.
Panelists included KKFARM partner and musician Pochang Wu, Musicoin Foundation Britain head and JAAK CEO from Britain. Digital technology sessions discussed how technologies such as AR, VR and MR constituted new music experiences, and how artificial intelligence impacted the industry.
