2017 Golden Melody Awards ceremony will be grandly held at Taipei Arena on June 24th. Best Female Vocalist - Mandarin winner last year, Julia Peng (彭佳慧), will perform this year with the theme “Honorable Moments”. With over 20 years of experiences, she finally won in this category last year. This award-winning singer will review her inspiring career, and perform several songs with her powerful and emotional voice to encourage everyone to persist in his/her dreams. After winning Best New Artist in the 8th Golden Melody Awards, Peng finally stood on this stage again last year. Her emotional acceptance speech brought many people into tears. As a mother of three, Peng says, “I’m still a mom, first and foremost”. This award doesn’t really change her life, she says. She still focuses on her career and life. She will give us a positive and warm performance after one year. A collage of moving segments over the past 27 years in GMA will be broadcast in the background. The 28th Golden Melody Awards ceremony will be grandly held at Taipei Arena on June 24th. Taiwan Television Company will broadcast live at the red carpet at 5PM and ceremony from 7PM on TTV channel.
