Billy Koh is one of the most instrumental and influential figures in the Asian Chinese-Pop (C-pop) music industry. Founder & former CEO of Ocean Butterflies, Billy quit as CEO of Ocean Butterflies in 2014 to pursue his new business, Amusic Rights Management.In his 30-over years’ music career, Billy has produced more than 200 albums for singers from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China & the US. He is the mentor who discovered & produced many successful Asian acts including Kit Chan in 1994, A-Do in 2002, JJ Lin in 2003 and BY2 in 2008.
Apart from speaking at international forums including MIDEM, Canadian Music Week, MacWorld Asia and TEDx, Billy has been judging for many popular TV talent shows including “I am a Singer”, “Supper Boy” in China, “One Million Star” and “Chinese Idol” in U.S., “Asia Song Festival” in South Korea, “Asia New Singer Competition” in Hong Kong and “Project SuperStar” in Singapore.
Born in Singapore, Billy now works and travels between Beijing and Asian cities. Amusic Rights Management operates in Beijing and Singapore, in partner with Avex Music Group in Japan and Taiwan.
Tony NAGAMAIAH
General Manager of Malaysia Major Events
Tony Nagamaiah joined Malaysia Major Events, an agency under the Ministry of Tourism & Culture Malaysia in July 2010. He was responsible for setting up the agency, which was formed as part of Malaysia Economic Transformation Programme.Tony leads Malaysia Major Events purely to focus on identifying and supporting international event bids such as sports, arts, and culture and lifestyle events. Apart from this; Tony is also responsible to identify, support and market home grown events into achieving international stature. To date Malaysia Major Events has supported over 300 major events throughout Malaysia with a contribution of more than RM 5 billion in tourism expenditure to the country. The events supported have brought in over 1 million tourists which are approximately 5% of the total tourist arrivals to Malaysia.
These major events have created job opportunity for Malaysians in the various tourism and event space. It is reported by Prime Minister’s Oce that approximately 8,000 jobs will be created by 2020 via major events. This has also led to development of new tourism infrastructure products throughout the country such as hotels, venues, amphitheaters, theme parks and so forth.
Tony brings over 20 years of regional experience, including business development, media communications, and bidding, sponsorship, and event management in both national and international markets. His experience includes senior management positions with Hill & Knowlton South East Asia, PIKOM, The National ICT Agency of Malaysia and Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacfic.
Tony graduated with a Bsc.BA (Hons.) in Finance and Management from Hawaii Pacic University, USA.
He is a frequent speaker at Major Event’s conferences and summits in the region and often quoted by theregional media as thought leader in the industry.

After graduated from law school, I was working at BMG Music Publishing representative in Indonesia for 9 years as a Publishing Manager and then move to Musica Studio's, one of the biggest & oldest record label in Indonesia. I have so many experience working in this label because I am not only handling music publishing matters but I also handle digital partnership with content providers, 3rd party partnership (YouTube, Nokia Comes with music), music library and maintain company website. On 2014, I had an offer to work at ASIRI as the General Manager.
