Ni founded music label Mandala Works as a pioneer in rock and hip-hop music in Taiwan. He was also the key person to build a solid local foundation for MTV channel in Taiwan, and he was Cultural Commissioner in Taipei City Government from 2014 to 2016, the first from music industry.

YEH Yun Fu

Yeh is a mainstream music industry personnel, who began writing music commentaries and observations of the music industry in major newspapers and magazines starting in the 90s. Afterwards, Yeh devoted all of his time to the development and marketing of music and talents, so he is familiar and skilled with various forms of mainstream music. Yeh has worked in various record companies, including Mandala Works International Communications, Rock Records, Avex, EMI China, Gold Typhoon Group, etc. In the past 10 years, Yeh has been working within the music market of China to expand the value of Chinese singers. Currently Yeh is the Director of Rock Records China and in 2016 he founded ROKON a subsidiary of Rock Records and a brand new label focused on electronic music, Yeh hopes to launch the next wave of mandopop from the thought process of youth culture.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Justin Sweeting has more than 15 years music industry experience, centered within Asia. A graduate of the University of Bath, Justin lives in Hong Kong with his wife and three children. Having established the pan-regional, cross media platform AMP (Asia’s Music Platform) for Channel [V] & Fox, Justin has played a central role in advocating the support and development of a reliable touring circuit for international artists as well as the nurturing of local music scenes across the continent. Focused on the territory’s live music sector, Justin is Magnetic Asia’s Music Director and co-founder of the annual Clockenflap festival in Hong Kong. He also works across Magnetic Asia’s properties including: Sónar Hong Kong, the YourMum regular touring series alongside other events and related music services such as Ticketflap. He’s worked with artists including: New Order, The Libertines, The Chemical Brothers, Franz Ferdinand, The xx, Ellie Goulding, Sigur Rós, Flaming Lips, Damien Rice, Elbow, Nile Rodgers, Two Door Cinema Club, Belle & Sebastian, Bastille, The 1975, A$AP Rocky, Primal Scream, Alt-J, HYUKOH, My Little Airport, Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, De La Soul, Justice, 2manydjs and so very many more. Connecting the dots between Asia and the global industry at large, Justin has been invited to participate in prestigious worldwide conferences and events from the USA to the UK, Australia, China, Denmark, Korea, France, Japan, Spain, Singapore and beyond.
