In recent years, research projects have mainly focused on industrial policy planning, brand strategy planning, regional economic industry-university coopetition, as well as topics on manufacturing, service industry, and television and film industries.

Carol Wang, professional manager in Taiwan’s media industry. Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), College of Technology Management, Tsinghua University. Currently with Sanlih Media Group, serving as Programming Dept. Vice President and Director of City Channel. She is also deputy general manager at Enjoy Entertainment Co., deputy general manager for Chinese Creative Co., and manager at MTV Networks Taiwan. Over the course of her 23 years in the television industry, she has produced numerous popular programs and dramas, and recognized with many Golden Bell Awards for achievements in television. Her qualifications are both broad and deep, running from television content creation to production of large-scale events and awards ceremonies, and spanning channel management, e-commerce, entertainment artist agency, and other fields.

Atsushi Sogo began his career at the Programming Division of Nippon TV in 1985 and was transferred to the News Division to become a reporter for international news. He became a correspondent for the London Bureau in 1992 and covered UK stories such as the Northern Ireland Conflict and the divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, as well as global headlines like Russia after the fall of the socialist regime and the Middle East Peace Talks. Upon returning to Japan, Sogo was assigned to the Business Development Division where he helped produce the Japan concert of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, several Japanese exhibitions of master painters such as Van Gogh, and created sales and program-related goods for merchandise. Sogo led a team that established an internal control structure for enhanced corporate governance. In 2012, he was promoted to Managing Director for Rights & Contracts and represented Nippon TV as a committee member of the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association. Sogo moved to Taipei in 2014 to become Vice President of CNplus Production, Inc., a joint venture by Nippon TV and Taiwan’s CTI. Subsequent to his return to Japan in June 2017, he became Executive Vice President of International Business Development and after only a year is stepping up to President of the same division.

Mr. Felix To is a media veteran who has been working in the media and television field over 20 years, ranging from newspapers, publishing, advertising, radio, television. Mr. To was in management positions in 3 local commercial TV corporations (Asian Television Limited, iCable TV, Now TV) in Hong Kong with the great achievements of introducing spectacular overseas television programmes to Hong Kong audiences, serving as a programme advisor for the popular local TV shows and being the pioneer of the newly-launched channels in pay TV. Joining Television Broadcasts Limited and leading the programme and production divisions since 2012, Mr. To has been playing a pivotal role in facilitating drama co-productions with mainland China setting new milestones in the legacy of Hong Kong drama.
