Huang holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from the National Taiwan University of the Arts. Since beginning her professional vocal career in 1983, Huang has recorded, written and edited backing vocal tracks for over 2,000 albums for singers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. She has also served as supervisor of backing vocalists, written and edited backing vocal tracks for over 500 individual concerts involving singers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Acting as the vocal coach and writing backing track for popular singing competition shows such as Super Idol and Chinese Million Star, she has participated in countless tapings of the shows. Huang also served as many singer’s vocal backing track producer for their albums, as well as their vocal coach.
